5 PM River Patrol fishing report follows: fishing below #19 (No Name) was proscribed today, due to ongoing river restoration construction. However, as mentioned in an earlier post today, effective 5:45 AM tomorrow morning, through 8:30 PM Monday 1 September, guests will be able to access the area below #19 (No Name) for the purpose of angling. The area below # 19 (No Name) will again be closed on Tuesday, 2 September, due to the recommencement of river restoration construction; NOTE: barring unforeseen circumstances, beyond our immediate control, our new river restoration project completion date is on, or before, Friday 5 September; just upriver of # 19 (No Name), still in the lower section of the river, there was a "low" density of guests, experiencing "slow" angling success, with predominantly Chinook (King) salmon that were moving through and upriver; the middle section of the river had a "low" density of guests, building up to a "moderate" density further up in that section, all experiencing "slow" angling success, with a mix of Chinook (King) as well as Coho salmon providing action, with these fish both moving through and upriver, with some choosing to hold in pools; the upper section of the river had a "low" density of guests, experiencing "slow" angling success, with predominantly Coho salmon that were moving through and upriver. there is no report for the top section of the river. The forecast for tomorrow is: "Sunshine and clouds mixed. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 69F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph."
