8/26/2025-Our guests didn’t hook any Salmon or Smallmouth today; however (1) Salmon was seen moving upriver from the Joss Hole this afternoon. It was a pleasant day to be on the run with temperatures in the upper 60s, and partly cloudy skies; water temperature was 67 degrees midday. There are some showers in the forecast for this evening scheduled to subside around 7am tomorrow. Temperatures will again be in the upper 50s to mid-60s throughout the day with winds initially from the N / NW shifting to the W in the afternoon at 3-10 mph. As mentioned earlier in the day Brookfield will be keeping the flow from the dam @185 cfs through this Labor Day weekend and into the early part of September until substantial rainfall brings up the water level of the reservoir. The river restoration is ongoing from ‘No Name Hole’ / #19 on our DSR map with a completion date of NLT 1 September.
