209 CFS Pineville Gauge
185 CFS Dam Release

August 25, 2025

8/25/2025-A partly cloudy day with temperatures making it to the low 70s with light W / SW winds was the weather pattern today here on the run. Our guests started showing up at first light and a few still remain as this report is being written.  A couple of Smallmouth were caught, but no other species were brought to hand or sighted. Tomorrow, temperatures will range from the high 50s climbing to the upper 60s by late afternoon with winds out of the West 6-13 mph.  A few light showers possible in the morning, but not much in the way of accumulation predicted. The flow from the dam was 185 cfs today and scheduled to remain at that level through midnight tomorrow evening; the Pineville gauge is currently reading 216 cfs. As noted in several of our previous reports, the river restoration is underway in the lower portions of the river, (‘No Name Hole / #19 on our map), and fishing / walking is closed from that area downstream.  The completion date remains NLT 1 Sep. ’25.
