Over the weekend, the CFS at the dam was 750 (scheduled increase for recreational purposes), dropped to 350 at 6 PM Sunday, then further dropped to 285 at 7 AM this morning, and is scheduled to drop further to 185 (normal summertime flow) at 7 AM tomorrow. The CFS at the Pineville gauge over the weekend was 771, then dropped to 408 this morning. Our air temperatures were in the high 70s, with plenty of sunshine, and light breezes. Water temperatures today are a bit cooler than last week, ranging from 69 to 72 degrees. Although we had one guest on the run over the weekend, there was no report from that guest. Today, we had two season pass holders, targeting Smallmouth Bass. They caught three bass, the largest 13". Two other guests targeted Fallfish, with one reporting success in these endeavors. The forecast for tomorrow is: "Partly cloudy skies. Areas of smoke reducing visibility at times. High 84F. Winds NNE at 5 to 10 mph."
