The fishing this week was challenging with the warm weather and muggy conditions. There were anglers on the run each day with both Smallmouth and Fallfish landed. Our Smallmouth anglers did a bit of walking to ensure success. The flow out of the Dam started the week at 185CFS which lasted until midnight on Thursday when it rose to 350CFS. At 10pm this evening the flow will be 750CFS. There were a few water temperatures noted ranging from 72F on Wed. to a high of 78F on Thursday. The weather for the weekend looks to be a bit of a mixed bag with Saturday's high of 83F and a low of 68F, partly cloudy and the winds SSW at 7mph. On Sunday to temperatures drop to a high of 75F and a low of 59F with AM T-Storms, the winds will be WNW at 11mph. Todays anglers had cooler temperatures, but the fish were elusive, just a couple were landed. One angler landed a nice Smallmouth about 14 inches. The water temperature was 69F this morning and 71F by noon.
