05/28/2025-We had a handful of guests fish the run today with limited success on smallmouth and another handful of smolts that wanted to try their luck and grabbing a swung fly!  The water temperature was 56 degrees after sun-up and climbed to 60 degrees mid-day. The current flow from the dam is 500 cfs and the gauge at Pineville is reading 666 cfs.  Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for rain / rain showers, temperatures in the 50s-60s, with light SE winds. Please check https://www.safewaters.com/facility/lighthouse-hill for the most current flow from the dam if you’re traveling significant distances to join us on the run to ensure the release from the dam is below 2000 cfs.
