I guess Spring is over and Summer has begun. High overnight temperatures and a high during the day of 83 degrees resulted in rapidly rising water temperatures. Early this morning the water temperature was 61 degrees and by mid-day had risen to 68. More heat than needed and too soon. Tomorrow's forecast calls for even warmer temperatures than today with high's getting into the mid- to upper 80's. Reports of fishing over the weekend indicate that although there were cooler temperatures, the fishing was slower than it was today. The few anglers that joined us today did, however, have some success with the bass. Good numbers and good sized bass well. Water from the dam remains at the base summer flow of 215cfs and the current flow at Pineville is 277cfs
