Another day above freezing and light rain, with temperatures holding around 40 F for most of the day. Nearly all the snow we had accumulated has dissipated at this point, but has continued to send ice cold run-off into the river keeping water temperatures around 34 F. Overall, conditions were pretty nice for a mid-winter day, but the higher dam release of 1500 CFS has kept things fairly quiet on the river. Despite the run off, there has been no indicates of issues with water clarity. The dam release is currently scheduled to remain at 1500 CFS until 11:59 PM tonight (2/1). Please be sure to monitor scheduled flows via safewaters.com/facility/lighthouse-hill ahead of any upcoming trips.
