A bit of a drop in temperatures last night combined with a thin blanket of snow, made for an icy morning. Just a handful of anglers joined us today, mostly for the morning, with a few die-hards sticking it out for the entirety of the day, despite the cold and rather strong winds. From the reports we received today, it sounds like fishing was very similar to yesterday, with most anglers just doing 'okay'. Temperatures are expected to drop a bit, but then warm back up around sunrise tomorrow and reach a high of 33 F by the afternoon. The release from the dam has remained at 750 CFS, and it scheduled to remain at 750 CFS until 11:59 tonight (1/4). Please check safewaters.com/facility/lighthouse-hill for an updated dam release schedule.
