Seems like today was one of those days you should have been here! A bit of overcast, and warmer temperatures were definitely ideal ingredients for a good outing. Another couple dozen anglers (most returning from yesterday), seemed to have quite a field day down on the run. Reports ranged from a couple fish, to one seasoned angler reaching double digit numbers indicating it was the best fishing he had experienced in quite some time. As usual, we just needed that day of acclimation, to see just how many fish that bump in flows brought in with it. Overall, today, the lower end was the place to be today, with great reports from both float and fly fishing anglers. After the apprehension and concern expressed earlier in this season, it's certainly reassuring to hear such positive reports as we progress through the season.
