DSR Fishing Report for 15 January 2026 The current dam release is 1200 CFS scheduled until 01/16/26 9:00pm; from 9:00pm tomorrow evening the flow is scheduled to be reduced to 750 cfs until 11:59 on 01/16/26. The Pineville gauge is currently 1610 CFS as of 4:30pm. The water temperature was not available this morning. REPORT: A handful of anglers join us on the run today from late morning through early afternoon, fishing from the top sections through the lower sections.  Angling success was listed as slow to moderate with most of the holes holding a fish or two, but they were all worked for.  Centerpinning with egg sacs was the technique used by the anglers I had a chance to speak with coming off the water.  The steelhead were still a mix of fairly fresh chrome along with some fairly dark fish; no browns were taken to hand today. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 70%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected.   The forecast for tomorrow:  Partly cloudy skies in the morning will give way to cloudy skies during the afternoon. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High 23F.
