Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph, with little chance of any precipitation”.   NOTE: due to the potential for lake effect snow, and other forms of inclement weather conditions during the winter season, please monitor the weather site for Pulaski, NY (zip code 13142) forecasts before getting on the road; remember that lake effect snow typically occurs in relatively narrow bands, and that immediately adjacent areas may be clear of snow, therefore look at the forecast for the general area as well when planning your travel.   ANNOUNCEMENTS: Daily Access Fishing Pass Availability and pass price guide: https://douglastonsalmonrun.com/fishing/ Walk-up Daily Access Fishing Pass procedures: https://douglastonsalmonrun.com/walkup/   2026 DAILY ACCESS FISHING PASS RELEASE DATES: 1 January through 27 August 2026 Daily Access Fishing Passes are already available online; September 2026 passes: Monday 19 Jan 2026 - enter queue at 5:30 PM, sales begin at 6 PM; October 2026 passes - Wednesday 21 January 2026 - enter queue at 5:30 PM, sales begin at 6 PM; Premium Access passes - Friday 23 January 2026 - enter queue at 5:30 PM, sales begin at 6 PM     DSR Lodge Availability: Short-term Lodge Availability for the next ten days: Estuary Lodge Availability: 23 December Meadow Lodge Availability: 23-25, 31 December - 1 January Deer Run Lodge Availability: 23, 26-27, 30 December River lodge Availability: 24-25 December, January 2-3 Manor Lodge Availability: 22-25 December, January 2-3   call for updates / assistance in booking if required) https://douglastonsalmonrun.com/lodging/   2026 Fishing Pass Release Dates & Times: - 19 Jan 2026 passes for only Sept, enter “Q” at 5:30pm, sale begins at 6:00pm - 21 Jan 2026 passes for Oct and Sept, enter “Q” at 5:30pm, sale begins at 6:00pm - 23 Jan 2026 passes for Premium Access, enter “Q” at 5:30pm, sale begins at 6:00pm   Prime time (September through November) 2026 lodging dates which are currently available for immediate booking (call for status and assistance in securing reservations)   Please ensure that, during colder weather, you keep the fish in the water, until immediately prior to taking the picture, in order to minimize the chance of their gills freezing.
