20 Nov 2025 full-day DSR fishing report. Today's forecast: the skies were generally light overcast to hazy blue, however there was brilliant sunshine most of the day, generally light breezes with occasional wind, 31 degrees to start the day, warming up to our high of 44 degrees by mid-afternoon, no precipitation at all today. The current dam release is 1800 CFS, where it is projected to remain until 11/20/25 at 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently at 2060 as of 3:30 PM. Water temperature was 36 degrees this morning as of 6:30 AM. We came close to our upper angler limit today, with our guests arriving just before our opening time of 6:15, until as late as 2:30 PM. After checking-in, they scattered to all parts of the run. Some founds holes in each section, where they anchored for the day, achieving moderate success, while others walked the run, “skipping and dipping”, enjoying equal success. Of all the reports I received today, all of our guests were able to at least hook into a couple of fish, with most bringing to hand ones, twos, threes, with one skillful guest achieving double-digits. According to our guests, all sections of the run fished well today, primarily Steelhead, with at least four Brown Trout reported, two of which were in the +10# weight bracket. The action slacked off a bit around 9 AM, then kicked right back up at noon for about an hour, before leveling off. Beads in the 14mm size (chartreuse most productive, followed by tangerine), drifted under bobbers, egg sacks under bobbers, and swinging flies produced, in that order. The forecast for tonight is: "Partly cloudy this evening, then becoming cloudy after midnight. Low 31F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph." The forecast for tomorrow is: "Cloudy skies with a few showers later in the day. High 46F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%." ANNOUNCEMENTS: The Special Regulations Area, at the Meadow, remains in effect through 30 November 2025.
