The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 246. 5 PM report: current conditions are: cloudy skies, 48 degrees, but it feels like 45 degrees. The winds are out of the East at 9mph. Water temperature is 49 degrees. The estuary section reported moderate guest density, moderate fishing activity throughout, on Steelhead, which are moving upriver as well as holding in pools. The lower section reported high to moderate guest density in the lower part, experiencing excellent fishing activity throughout, on all Steelhead throughout, with these fish moving through. The middle section reported moderate guest density, experiencing excellent fishing activity with Steelhead only throughout, which are moving upriver. The upper section reported low guest density throughout, with good to excellent fishing activity throughout, Steelhead are all moving through. The top section reported Steelhead moving through. The forecast for tonight is: “A steady rain this evening. Showers continuing overnight. Low 44F. Winds E at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60%. Rainfall near a quarter of an inch.
