The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 228. 9 AM report: current conditions are: overcast skies, 45 degrees (high of 49 degrees forecasted), dead calm, has been drizzling since before dawn. Water temperature is 44 degrees. The estuary section reported moderate guest density, moderate fishing activity throughout, on Steelhead, which are moving upriver as well as holding in pools. The lower section reported moderate guest density in the lower part, low guest density in the upper part, experiencing moderate fishing activity throughout, on all Steelhead throughout, with these fish moving through as well as holding in pools. The middle section reported moderate guest density in the lower part, low guest density in the upper part, experiencing moderate fishing activity in the lower part, and slow fishing activity in the upper part, with Steelhead only throughout, which are moving upriver as well as holding in pools in the lower part, and moving upriver in the upper part. The upper section reported low guest density throughout, with slow fishing activity throughout, with a mix of Chinook (King) Salmon and Steelhead throughout, and a few Brown Trout in the lower part, which are all moving through as well as holding in pools throughout this section. The top section reported no guests present. The forecast for tonight is: "Rain likely. Low 44F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Rainfall around a half an inch. Locally heavy rainfall possible". The forecast for tomorrow is: "Rain. Becoming windy in the afternoon. High 46F. Winds WNW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 100%. Rainfall possibly over one inch.
