29 OCT '25 / PM Fishing Report: The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/29/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 209. The estuary section reported a low guest density with slow fishing activity for Steelhead that were seen moving up and down river. The lower section reported a low guest density and good fishing activity with Steelhead and a few Brown trout being brought to hand. The middle section reported a moderate guest activity with mainly Steelhead being caught. They were seen holding in pools and moving upriver. The upper section reported a moderate guest density with Steelhead being the primary species. The top section reported no anglers present. The forecast for tomorrow is: “Rain. Thunder possible. High near 50F. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 100%. Rainfall may reach one inch”. Announcements: The Salmon Run Lodge (a seven-person lodge) is available for immediate booking from 13 through (checkout day) 20 September 2026, as well as the evening of 22 September 2026 only (checkout 23 September). There are (13) Premium Access passes ($50 each) available for sale, online, for tomorrow, 30 Oct 2025. A Premium Access pass only allows you to access the river first as part of a group of 20; you will need to also purchase either a daily access fishing pass, or have a seasonal fishing pass in your possession. The Special Regulations Area at Meadow Run (only) will again be implemented for the Month of November, 2025. The ‘SRA’ features step-cast angler rotation of the pool, fishing from the North shore only, and allows for any angling technique to be utilized within the step-cast format.
