The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/28/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 216. 9 AM report: current conditions are: hazy blue skies and brilliant sunshine, 38 degrees (high of 57 degrees forecasted), dead calm, dry. Water temperature is 46 degrees. The estuary section reported low guest density, moderate fishing activity, on Steelhead holding in pools. The lower section reported moderate guest density in the lower part, low guest density in the upper part, experiencing moderate fishing activity throughout, on Steelhead only in the lower part, and a mix of Chinook (King) Salmon, a few Brown Trout, and Steelhead in the upper part, with these fish holding in pools within the lower part, and moving upriver in the upper part. The middle section reported low guest density in the lower part, moderate guest density in the upper part, experiencing moderate fishing activity throughout, with a mix of King Salmon, a few Brown Trout, and Steelhead in the lower part, and Steelhead only in the upper part, which are moving upriver in the lower part, and moving through as well as holding in pools in the upper part. The upper section reported moderate guest density throughout, with good fishing activity in the lower part, and moderate fishing activity in the upper part, on Coho Salmon, a few Brown Trout, and Steelhead in the lower part, and Steelhead only in the upper part, which are all moving through as well as holding in pools throughout this section. Throughout the run fish are holding in pools. A lot of the fish that are holding are engaging in spawning activity; please do NOT fish for spawning fish!
