23 OCT '25: The Manor House guests' reserved areas, the South channel below the Glide, as well as the Upper Clay, are both OPEN to all other DSR guests today, as well as for the rest of the season. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether or not the areas are accessible. There are three Premium Access passes currently available for sale, online, for tomorrow, 24 Oct '25 We have an ample number of full day fishing passes for immediate sale starting at 6:30 AM ($95 each); by extension, we will have ample afternoon-only fishing passes to sell, starting at 1 PM today ($55 each). It should be noted that individuals have been able to now purchase daily access fishing passes online, for the next day; the amount of available passes online will vary day-by-day, but try that option before you attempt a walk-up pass.

The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/23/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 244.
9 AM report: current conditions are: heavy overcast, 49 degrees (high of 52 degrees forecasted), light wind, wet from overnight rain. Water temperature is 52 degrees.
Throughout the run, unless otherwise noted, fish are both moving upriver as well as holding in pools. A lot of the fish that are holding are engaging in spawning activity; please do NOT fish for spawning fish!
The estuary section reported moderate guest density, moderate fishing activity, on Steelhead moving upriver.
The lower section reported low guest density throughout, experiencing slow fishing activity in the lower part, moderate fishing activity in the upper part, on Steelhead only, with these fish moving upriver in the lower part, and both moving upriver and holding in pools in the upper part.
The middle section reported low guest density in the lower part, moderate guest density in the upper part; experiencing moderate fishing activity throughout, with Steelhead only.
The upper section reported moderate guest density in the lower part, low guest density in the upper part, with moderate fishing activity in the lower part and slow activity in the upper part, on a mix of Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho, Brown Trout, and Steelhead in the lower part, and Kings and Steelhead in the upper part.
The top section reported moderate guest density, moderate fishing activity, with a mix of Kings and Steelhead.
The forecast for tonight is: "A steady rain this evening. Showers continuing overnight. Low 41F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Rainfall near a half an inch". The forecast for tomorrow is: "Cloudy with occasional rain...mainly in the morning. High 49F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 100%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch".
