Today's Report

October 13, 2025

13 October 2025: as of 7 AM we have multiple full day fishing passes for immediate sale ($105).  The two Manor House guests' reserved areas (the South channel below the Glide, and a portion of the Upper Clay) are CLOSED, to all other categories of guests, until further notice; any updates will be published immediately through here, our website fishing reports, through Guest Services at the Welcome Center, and through the River Patrol assigned to the two specific reserved areas. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether or not the areas are accessible.

The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/13/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 198.
9 AM report: Current conditions are: heavy overcast, 52 degrees (high of 62 degrees forecasted), dead calm, light drizzle falling. Water temperature is 56 degrees.
The estuary section reported low guest density, slow fishing activity, with Chinook (King) and Coho salmon, as well as Steelhead, moving upriver and holding in pools.
The lower section reported high guest density in the lower part, low guest density in the upper part, all experiencing moderate fishing activity throughout, with a mix of Kings, Cohos, and Steelhead in the lower part, and Kings and Steelhead in the upper part, that are moving upriver as well as downriver, and holding in pools in the lower part, and moving upriver in the upper part. A lot of the fish that are holding are engaging in spawning activity; please do not fish for spawners!
The middle section reported moderate guest density throughout; experiencing moderate fishing activity throughout, with a mix of Kings and Steelhead in the lower part, and Kings, two Brown Trout, and Steelhead in the upper part, with fish moving upriver in the lower part, and both moving upriver as well as holding in pools in the upper part.
The upper section reported high guest density throughout, with moderate fishing activity throughout, Kings and Steelhead throughout, that are moving upriver as well as holding in pools in the lower part, and moving upriver in the upper part.
The top section reported no guests present, with Kings only, that are moving upriver.
The forecast for tonight is: "Cloudy. Low 49F. Winds light and variable". The forecast for tomorrow is: "Considerable clouds early. Some decrease in clouds later in the day. High 64F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph".
