11 Oct '25 / PM Fishing Report: ***Starting 10 October opening time will be at 5:30 AM and closing time will be at 7:30 PM.***   The two Manor House guests' reserved areas (the South channel below the Glide, and a portion of the Upper Clay) are OPEN, tomorrow, Sunday, October 12th, 2025, to all other categories of guests, until further notice; any updates will be published immediately through here, our website fishing reports, through Guest Services at the Welcome Center, and through the River Patrol assigned to the two specific reserved areas. Appropriate signage has also been posted at the boundaries of these two areas, to indicate whether the areas are accessible.   The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until 10/11/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 202.  Water temperature was 56F at 2pm.   Procedures for procuring a 'Walk Up' pass are available at the following link: https://douglastonsalmonrun.com/walkup/   There are three lodges available on the 16th of October: Mud Creek, Salmon Run Lodge and Deer Run. The lodges are for one night only and have a minimum occupancy rate of 3 guests for Mud Creek and Deer Run and for Salmon Run 5 guests. The lodges can be booked online.   5pm report: The estuary section reported a low number of guests, with quiet angling success, with Chinook (King) salmon moving upriver through both the North and center channels.   The lower section reported moderate guest density throughout, experiencing moderate fishing activity, with Kings, Cohos, Steelhead, both moving upriver and holding in selected pools.   The middle section reported moderate guest density, and moderate to excellent angling success, with Kings being the primary fish brought to hand.   The upper section reported low guest density, with moderate fishing activity throughout Kings and Cohos, moving upriver.   The top section reported no anglers; Kings, Cohos, and Steelhead moving upriver.   The forecast for tomorrow is: “Sunshine and clouds.  High of 69F.  Winds from the E at 5-10 mph.
