DEER RUN LODGE IS AVAILABLE September 16 – 20, 2025. This lodge is available only for this year; you will not be able to rebook for 2026. If interested, the lodge cannot be booked online, so please call the DSR Welcome Center (315) 298-6672 press ‘0’ to speak with a Guest Services member about booking the lodge. As a matter of interest, the rate is $330 per night for anywhere from one to three guests, $400 per night for four guests, $475 per night for five guests, plus 12% taxes. The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 200 CFS until 09/15/2025 11:59 PM. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is 198 currently. Water temp. 69F Current weather conditions: Clear skies. (this report is a subjective, generalized, evaluation of fishing conditions within large, yet specific, areas of the run, compiled through personal observations of the River Patrol assigned to these areas, as well as those of our guests angling within these areas, over a span of several hours, and may differ from your personal observations): The estuary section reported low anglers having slow success. A few smaller pods of salmon were reported moving up and down river. The lower section reported low number of anglers with low success. A few king and coho salmon were landed. Most fish were seen holding in pools, with a few moving upriver. The middle section reported moderate to slow angling pressure with slow success. Kings were the dominant species caught and were sighted holding in deep pools. The upper section of river reported low number of anglers present, slow to quite angling success. Mostly kings with a few cohos brought to hand, fish were seen mostly moving up though river. The top section reported low angling pressure with quite angling success.
