Fishing Report for 09/08/2025-The flow from the dam is currently 200 cfs and scheduled to remain that way until at least 11:59pm 09/09/2025; the flow at the Pineville gauge was 213 cfs. Water temperature taken at 2pm was 65 degrees F. We had primarily sunny skies this afternoon, temperature of 65 degrees F with light W / NW winds. Tomorrow will be sunny, a bit warmer, with a high temperature of around 74 degrees F, with light and variable winds. NOTE / SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: The stream restoration project has been completed as of Friday 9/5; all areas of the river, including below hole #19, (No Name) reopened to fishing effective at 5:45am, September 6th, 2025. River Patrol 5:00pm fishing report (this report is a subjective, generalized evaluation of fishing conditions within large, yet specific, areas of the run, compiled through personal observations of the River Patrol assigned to these areas, as well as those of our guests angling within these areas, over a span of several hours, and may differ from your personal observations.) The estuary reported a low volume of anglers with slow angling success. There was a POD of Kings seen as in previous days but they were holding in place. The lower section reported a low volume of anglers and slow angling success with Kings only. The middle section also reported a low volume of anglers; however, the fishing success was rated as moderate with Kings, Coho and a Brown holding in pools. The upper section reported a low volume of anglers with slow angling success. With Kings the species being reported. The top section reported no anglers present. Overall, there seemed to be fish holding in pools and not moving up at the time of this report. Kings were the primary species caught, along with a handful of Cohos, and a Brown.
