The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 185 CFS until further notice. The CFS at the Pineville gauge is currently 209. We have partly cloudy skies, diffused but bright sunshine, dead calm, dry conditions. Air temperature is 70 degrees, water temperature is 68 degrees. NOTE / SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: the stream restoration project continues through Friday, 5 Sep '25, with all areas of the river below # 19 (No Name) closed to fishing. River Patrol 9 AM fishing report (NOTE: this report is a subjective, generalized, evaluation of fishing conditions within large, yet specific, areas of the run, compiled through personal observations of the River Patrol assigned to these areas, as well as those of our guests angling within these areas, over a span of several hours, and may differ from your personal observations): the estuary section is closed to fishing, until on or about Friday 5 Sep '25, due to ongoing stream restoration construction, however there were Chinook (King) salmon observed moving through and upriver; the lower section (from # 19 No Name and below) is closed to fishing, until on or about Friday 5 Sep '25, due to ongoing stream restoration construction, however the open section has a moderate density of guests, experiencing slow angling activity, with both Kings and Cohos, that are moving upriver as well as downriver (the latter probably Cohos); the middle section reported low guest density, experiencing slow angling activity, with both Kings and Cohos, that are moving upriver as well as downriver (the latter probably Cohos) ; the upper section reported low guest density, experiencing moderate angling activity, with predominantly Kings, which are pushing through and upriver, as well as holding in pools; the top section reported no guests present at this time, quiet, however there were (unknown species of) fish moving through the area.
