8/23/2025-A mostly sunny morning did slowly change over to cloudy skies, and eventually light showers as darkness approached. The flow was 185 cfs from the dam and 224 cfs at Pineville. Our guests didn’t report any hook ups of Smallmouth or salmon today; there was a Salmon sighted mid river moving up, but that was it. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for rain and or scattered thunderstorms from dawn to dusk with expected precipitation totals to be around ½”, temperatures in the mid-60s to mid-70s and light S SE winds 5-8 mph. The river restoration continues; from hole #19 on our DSR map, (‘No Name Hole’), downstream is closed to fishing until that project is completed NLT 1 September ’25.
