6/10/25 : ATTENTION! Due to last night's significant rainfall on Tug Hill the release from Lighthouse Hill dam into the lower Salmon River will be increasing significantly throughout the morning. Per the safe waters website at 9AM on 6/10/25 the release will increase from 500 to 1,000cfs. At 10am the release will increase from 1,000 to 2,200cfs. Per Brookfield staff, another increase in release over 2,200cfs may follow. DSR will be closed to fishing until flows recede below the 2,000cfs threshold from Lighthouse Hill dam. It is recommended that all individuals recreating in the Salmon River downstream of Lighthouse Hill dam vacate the river immediately.
