Please see the information below*** The scheduled water release for the Salmon River from Lighthouse Hill Dam exceeds 2,000 cubic feet per second (CFS). As a precaution, Douglaston Salmon Run will be closed to fishing until the dam’s release recedes below the 2,000 CFS threshold. We understand that this may cause inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding. During the high water closure our office will remain open for abbreviated hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Note, if the flow is reduced below the 2,000 CFS threshold mid-day, DSR will remain closed to fishing for that day and reopen to angling the next day. To our Angling Guests: Any pre-purchased fishing passes that are affected by this closure will be credited in full to your account. This credit is usable for any DSR good or service and is valid for the remainder of the current year through December 31st of the coming year. To our Lodging Guests: This fishing closure will not affect lodging reservations as not all guests have plans to fish. However, if this high-water fishing closure does affect the intended purpose of your stay with us, please contact us to reschedule or cancel your lodging reservation. If cancelled, you will be credited with the full amount of your payment(s). This credit is usable for any DSR good or service and is valid for the remainder of the current year through December 31st of the coming year.
