Affected Area: A portion of central New York, including the following counties, Jefferson, Lewis and Oswego. Flooding is most likely along streams and rivers which drain the Tug Hill Plateau and western foothills of the Adirondacks
The release out of the Dam will be 1500CFS until midnight on the 15th. The weather for today was sunny to partly cloudy. High 59F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. For this evening a few clouds. Low 43F. Winds SE at 10 to 20 mph. Tomorrow's forecast will be generally sunny despite a few afternoon clouds. High 64F. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph. The anglers today did quite a bit of walking, several were able to land a couple of fish using beads and others had some success with egg sacks, while most had to work for just a bite. A few anglers remarked that the water was a little stained which could have contributed to the drop in action.
