Attention: DSR will be closed to fishing 3/22/25 A scheduled dam release for the Salmon River has been posted exceeding 2,000 cubic feet per second (cfs) from the Lighthouse Hill dam through 11:59PM 3/22/25. As a precaution to ensure the well-being of our guests and staff, Douglaston Salmon Run will be closed to fishing until the dam’s release recedes below the 2,000 CFS threshold. DSR will continue to monitor https://www.safewaters.com/facility/lighthouse-hill and once the release recedes below the 2,000cfs threshold we will reopen to angling for the hours posted at https://douglastonsalmonrun.com/. Note, if the flow is reduced below the 2,000cfs threshold mid-day, DSR will remain closed for fishing for that day and reopen to angling the next day. During the high water closure our office will remain open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
