Fishing Report for 03/04/2025-We had just over ½ dozen anglers join us on the run today, with most of them on the river just after opening time. Reports were good from the anglers I spoke with so far today; several steelhead brought to hand using an indicator or bottom bouncing with egg sacks. The middle of the river was the area most fisherman spent most of their time, with one of our anglers working his way to the lower portions swinging flies without a take. The current temperature is 45 degrees and forecasted to stay above freezing throughout the night. There is a flood watch in effect for Oswego County through Thursday afternoon with showers / rain in the forecast for the majority of the day tomorrow, total rainfall to be near 1”, as temperatures may climb to 50 degrees with SE winds projected at 11-17 mph from the SE. The flow from the dam is scheduled to remain at 1200 cfs through at least 11:59pm tomorrow evening; the Pineville gauge is currently at 1470 cfs.
