Fishing Report for 02/15/2025-Starting the day off in the mid-teens  is becoming the norm here, or at least it feels that way, accompanied by overcast skies and winds from the E/SE 10-15mph.  We’ve had about a dozen guests join us today, with about half of them still out as this report is written.  For the anglers that I spoke with upon departing the consensus was fishing was a bit tougher, (for most), than the last few days regardless of the method used which included floating with an indicator and beads or egg sacs, bottom bouncing, and swinging.  A couple of fish hooked and brought to hand was the number that I heard most. The exceptions were a pair of anglers who ventured down to the lower part of the river and went 5/7 with most fish being colored up. We’ll see the temperature continue to rise into the 30s through the night with light snow continuing, eventually projected to become freezing rain around mid-morning through late afternoon before turning back to snow around sunset.  Winds tomorrow will be from the E/SE 12-16 mph until the colder air and snow moves back in when they shift to the N/NW. The flow from the dam today was 295 cfs and it is scheduled to stay at that rate until at least 11:59pm tomorrow evening.  The gauge at Pineville is reading 419 cfs.
