Fishing Report for 2-13-2025-The day did start out with some rain showers, but never materialized into downpours, that lasted until about noon. Another day with a handful of anglers fishing the run, with some showing up just after opening and the remainder around midday. Only (1) angler I spoke with didn’t bring a fish to hand; the remainder had good to solid numbers of fish caught, ranging from 2/4, 4/5, and the high rod of the day, 7/11. Beads and egg sacks under an indicator were the methods used by all our guests today. The middle portion of the river saw the greatest volume of fisherman, with a couple venturing to the lower portions without success.
Tomorrow the temperature will be around 20 degrees at sun-up reaching the upper 20s by late afternoon, accompanied by W / WNW winds 15-20mph, and little chance of precipitation throughout the day.
The flow from the dam was at 295 cfs today and is scheduled to remain there until at least 11:59pm tomorrow evening. The Pineville gauge is currently at 425 cfs.
