After this mornings fog, the weather cleared and gave us a beautiful sunny day with moderate temperatures. Fishing continues to be very good with the greatest fish presence witnessed in the mid and upper sections of the run. Those areas experienced the greatest angling success, but that may do, at least in part, to the fact that more anglers were present. As has been the pattern of late, Coho's seem to have a greater concentration than Kings (particularly in the upper section of the run). Reports from the lower section of the run suggest less fish density than in the mid and upper section although we are getting word that Kings and Coho's are "milling about" in the estuary, but are disinclined to push up into the run. Still, every day ( usually in the morning) we have some fish new fish entering the system. It's been a great beginning to the Salmon season. Flow from the dam remains at 350cfs and at Pineville the flow is 425cfs.
