I realize it's getting repetitive, but today was another absolutely beautiful day on the run with clear blue skies, pleasant temperatures, and minimal wind. In addition, good fish movement is getting repetitive as well. Most of the movement was concentrated on the mid-section where there was the greatest density of anglers and action. Strangely, this afternoon the upper-section saw relatively light fish movement (perhaps due to the bright overhead sun) and light angler pressure. Fish were brought to hand but not nearly to the degree that was witnessed in the mid-section. Kings ruled the day with a smattering of Coho in the mix. Everyday the fish presence improves. Not by leaps and bounds, but incrementally moving to better and better numbers. Now we just need to keep our fingers crossed that we avoid that period where the fish seem to disappear for a time. We'll see what tomorrow brings. The forecast for tomorrow is for another sunny and slightly warmer day with temperatures approaching 80 degrees. The flow from the dam remains at 350cfs and the flow at Pineville is 387cfs.
