Another beautiful day on the run. Sunny skies, light winds and warmer temperatures. Fishing was pretty darn good as well. Everyone with whom I spoke saw good fish movement throughout the day. Not crazy numbers but groups of two and three's on a regular basis. Sometimes more. I recall one angler who when asked "How was it today?" smirked, smiled and didn't answer until I repeated my question. At that point he smiled and said "I don't know how it was for anyone else but I had a very good day. Yeah. It was a really good day". Other anglers that I spoke with were clearly very happy with their day. Lots of hookups and good numbers of fish were brought to hand. Tomorrow is looking like it should be another excellent day to be on the run. Sunshine and temperatures into the seventies. We've received a number of reports from down stream that the estuary is getting loaded up with fish. Now we just need them to poke their nose up into the run in the morning. Water temperature went from 61 early up to 64 around noon. Flow from the dam remains at 350cfs and the Pineville gauge is reading 387cfs.
