Another week of off and on rain keeping temperatures cooler, reaching a high of 85 F on Tuesday. Given the rainfall, the dam release fluctuated quite a bit throughout the week. Starting off with a 1000 CFS release on Monday, on Tuesday the dam was increased to 1650 CFS, brought back down to 500 CFS, and now back up to 750 CFS. Between the weather and the water conditions, angling pressure remained fairly light. The anglers that joined us noted activity comparable to the past few weeks, with efforts continuing to be focused in the middle and lower sections. The dam release is currently scheduled to remain at 750 CFS until 11:59 PM tomorrow (6/29). Please monitor safewaters.com/facility/lighthouse-hill for updated dam release information.
