CFS at the dam started at 1000, at noon dropped to 750, and is currently scheduled to drop further to 500 at 2 PM tomorrow - CFS at the Pineville gauge started at 1270 and ended at 913 - air temperatures hovered in the high 40s - overcast skies, with light sprinkling - winds were generally moderate. I was only able to speak to a handful of our guests - most were able to at least get a few tugs, or fight a Steelhead momentarily, with those brought to hand in the typical 6# range, although a guest reported a much larger one popping his 12# leader "like a flimsy thread". Featured in the picture is a nice Smallmouth Bass brought to hand today. Tonight's forecast: "Rain showers this evening with overcast skies overnight. Low around 45F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.". Tomorrow's forecast: "Cloudy with rain developing later in the day. High 63F. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 70%.".
