A beautiful sunny day with reasonable temperatures and little wind. We could have done with a little less sunshine as that, combined with the higher water level, made things difficult for our anglers today. There were Steelhead and smallmouth brought to hand but I spoke with a number of anglers that came up empty today which is indicative of today's fishing being not quite at yesterdays level. I'm hopeful that with the drop of water and the forecast for clouds, that tomorrow will be another good day for Steelhead and Smallmouth. The water temperature this morning was 45 degrees and by noon had risen to 50. The flow at the dam remains at 1000cfs but at 9:00AM tomorrow the water will go to 750cfs. The current flow at Pineville is 1260cfs (and that, too, will begin to drop after 9:00AM)
