A windy start to the morning, but ultimately settling around 10 MPH with strong gusts in the mix. Some off and on light rain showers throughout the day but no significant rainfall. Overall conditions were comfortable with temperatures hanging in the 50's for most of the day with plenty of overcast. After some pretty heavy rainfall yesterday, we're still seeing quite a bit of runoff accumulated below the Pineville gauge, which currently reads near 500 CFS. Most anglers commented on the clarity, remarking it was quite chalky. Reports from our anglers indicated what seemed to be a 'okay' day, with most anglers reporting fish to hand. A majority of fish reported today were drop-backs, with a handful of bass reported by anglers focusing their attention in the lowers sections of the run. At dam release is currently scheduled to remain at 295 CFS until 11:59 PM tomorrow (4/13). Please monitor safewaters.com/facility/lighthouse-hill for updated dam release scheduling.
