CFS at the dam 500 - the current forecast is to midnight tomorrow - CFS at the Pineville gauge remained at 660 all day - air temperatures hovered in the mid 30s - overcast skies, with bands of flurries of light, fine grained, snow moving through periodically - winds were moderate at the Welcome Center, but reportedly stronger on the run itself. Our morning guests were able to get into a few "skippy" (small) Steelhead. Our afternoon guest fished a few hours and was able to get into a handful of larger Steelhead. Tonight's forecast: "Windy. Snow will taper off and end this evening leading to cloudy conditions late. Low around 20F. Winds WNW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 70%. Higher wind gusts possible." Tomorrow's forecast: "Windy with mostly cloudy skies. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High near 30F. Winds WNW at 20 to 30 mph.".
