Much to everyone's surprise, the dam release was reduced to 500 CFS again mid day, originally scheduled for 750 CFS until tonight. While a mid-day drop is never ideal conditions otherwise remained fair, with a bit more sun and blue skies than most might like, but minimal wind and comfortable temperatures. Water temperatures ultimately reached around 44 F. Overall, reports from our anglers were split. It seemed this afternoon fished better than this morning, with several anglers reporting multiple fish brought to hand, a majority being drop-back steelhead caught in the middle and lower sections of property. The dam release is currently scheduled to remain at 500 CFS until 11:59 PM tomorrow( (3/16). Please monitor safewaters.com/facility/lighthouse-hill for updated dam release scheduling.
