Today's conditions certainly weren't for the faint of heart. Steady rain, and a SE wind at about 20 MPH with gusts up to 38 MPH made for a rather difficult day. Several anglers joined us for short outings today given the conditions. Based on the reports from these anglers, each were able to land at least one steelhead, but between the driving winds and rain they didn't come easy. It was one of those days, no matter where you went on the property, there just wasn't that perfect spot to seek some cover from the elements. These anglers covered quite a bit of ground, but the middle section was reported to be the most fruitful. Forecasts call for similar weather conditions tomorrow, with temperatures dropping into the 30's with rain likely turning to snow. The current dam release is scheduled to remain at 1200 CFS until 11:59 PM tomorrow night (3/10). Please monitor safewaters.com/facility/lighthouse-hill for updated dam release scheduling.
