A cold start, but things warmed up quickly with just a touch of overcast and a mostly sunny day. Air temperatures reached around 55 F, but felt much cooler with some pretty steady SE winds for the greater part of the day, and water temperatures reported at 39 F. A rather light crowd for such a nice day, but those that joined us certainly appreciated the solitude. The majority of the anglers that joined us, joined us for the morning into the early afternoon. Based on the reports we received the lack of overcast was the hurdle today, but a few anglers reported several steelhead, all of which were reported as spawned out, drop backs. The dam release is currently scheduled to remain at 1200 CFS until 11:59 PM tomorrow (3/9). Please monitor safewaters.com/facility/lighthouse-hill for updated dam release scheduling.
