Not the weather we had yesterday, but temperatures in the mid-fifties at this time of year is not something that I'm going to complain about. The wind was a little bit of a nuisance, but overall a very good day to be on the run. While the weather did not improve from yesterday the fishing certainly did. Nearly all anglers that I spoke with today had a good day bringing multiple fish to hand. A mix of a few spawned out fish but numerous fresh chrome in the 7-9 pound range. The consistent warmer days and nights that we've experienced recently appear to be having the predictable effect of the fishery. We're starting see better numbers of fresh and drop-back steelhead. The flow from the dam remains at 500 cfs through 7:00PM this evening at which point it will be going to 1200 cfs (which is a little surprising giving the absence of snow and rainfall). Flow at Pineville is currently 755 cfs (but, of course, that will be on the rise as well)
