Yesterday's snow and high winds carried into the night making for a slushy, and icy morning. Despite being a fairly cold and windy day, we had quite a bit of sunshine. Overall, given the conditions, it was a rather quiet day on the run. Most of our anglers joined us mid morning, and stuck it out for the greater part of the day. Based on the reports, fishing was 'okay' with most of the day spent fighting wind, chipping ice and finding holes out of direct sunlight. Forecasts indicate some more of the same this weekend, with temperatures expected to drop to about 20 F by sunrise tomorrow, and reach a high of 26 F by noon. The dam release is currently scheduled to remain at 750 CFS until 11:59 PM tomorrow (2/17). Please monitor safewaters.com/facility/lighthouse-hill for update dam release information.
