It seemed like we were going to get a bit of a reprieve from the onslaught of high winds, but winds began to pick bag up gradually as the morning progressed. By this afternoon we began to experience similar wind conditions to that of yesterday, minus the abundance of freezing rain and snow. With a bit of warmer temperatures last night into this morning, most of the lingering snow quickly vanished. Despite the conditions, a number of anglers joined us for the morning, with a few anglers sticking it out for the majority of the day. Based on the reports we received from our anglers today, while still challenging, the fish seemed to be a tad bit more cooperative with nearly all anglers indicating that they hooked into multiple fish. Landing them, was a different story in this wind. The dam release remained at 285 CFS for the day, where it is currently scheduled to remain until 11:59 PM tonight (1/10). Please check safewaters.com/facility/lighthouse-hill for updated dam release scheduling ahead of any planned trips.
