Overall, a tough day for the rather light crowd of anglers we had join us. Despite the overcast, it was a warm day, with water temperatures rising from 53F to 55F by mid afternoon. Winds were minimal, but the leaves were reported to be problematic by a number of anglers. Reports from our River Patrol indicated extremely light angling pressure throughout the entire run, with a few steelhead being caught, but few and far between this afternoon. As we continue into the weekend, temperatures are forecasted to drop with a bit of rain anticipated as well. The current dam release is scheduled to remain at 335 CFS until 11:50 PM tonight (10/27). Please be sure to check safewaters.com/facility/lighthouse-hill for updated dam release scheduling this weekend.
