The rain overnight did puff the river up slightly, +60cfs reported at the Pineville gauge. The river is still wadable but do use caution. So far, the forecast is better than expected for the day. We experienced a light drizzle for about 30 minutes earlier this morning but other than that it has been dry. More light rain is forecasted for this afternoon. This morning's fishing report from River Patrol was consistently reported as good from one end of the run to the other. The upper portion of the run is nearly all steelhead while the bottom of the run is more of a mix with several kings, an Atlantic salmon, and a brown trout also being reported. With the leaves changing it is making for a very scenic backdrop and all in all seems like a great day to be out fishing. This morning's water temperature was reported at 54 degrees. We currently have Full Day passes for sale and expect to have some Afternoon Passes for sale at 1pm. If you're thinking about making the trip here, we do have lodging available in the coming week.
