Sunshine for the morning and cloud cover in the afternoon (but no rain) were the conditions our anglers experienced this afternoon and early evening. Most anglers that I spoke with had a good day down on the run with a mix that consisted predominately of Steelhead and King salmon. The Kings that were brought to hand were described as fresh from the lake and less colored up than they have been of late; the Steelhead as chrome and difficult to land. Water temperatures in the high 40's and lower 50's are pretty ideal for these fish. A number of Atlantic Salmon were also brought to hand. Not sure of the exact number (probable a half dozen or so) but clearly more than the one or two of days past. Additionally, bright, larger females are becoming part of the mix.
