9 AM River Patrol fishing report: CFS at the dam 750, CFS at the Pineville gauge 989 to start this morning, has since dropped to it's current 971 - air temperature at opening time was 48 degrees, water temperature was 55 degrees, overcast, very light breezes, not currently raining, however periodic rain showers are forecasted for later this morning - the estuary section reported some Chinook ("King") salmon jumping, but otherwise quiet in that section (no guests present) - just upriver, holding Kings, as well as Steelhead, are providing "slow" guest action (hookups few and far between) - the lower section has both Kings and Steelhead moving through, as well as holding in pools, providing "slow" action for our guests - Kings and Steelhead holding in the middle section are providing "slow" action for our guests - the upper section reported a mix of Kings and Steelhead both holding in pools, and moving up sporadically, providing "slow" action for guests
