Based on the reports from the few anglers we had join us this week, it seems the bass fishing has picked back up a bit. Nearly all of the anglers that joined us over the course of the week neared double digit numbers on small mouth, while swinging flies. Today was a bit slower for the single angler that joined us. With both air and water temperatures now on a steady rise, these anglers have continued to focus their efforts in the morning and early afternoon ahead of the heat. This week, hopeful that the high water brought some new fish in with it! Water temperatures this week have lingered around the upper 60’s with temperatures jumping into the 70’s briefly. It hasn’t been overly sunny, but it sure has been humid. Overcast has been abundant, with more smoke coverage returning from the ongoing wildfires north of us in Canada.
